Meet Giuseppe (Joe) Vitale
Sicilian-born Joe Vitale moved from Italy to New York in 1978, starting out as a baker in a Brooklyn bakery before mastering the art of pizza-making in the early ’80s. In 2003, he opened the first Joe’s Pizza in Park Slope, Brooklyn, sharing his love for classic New York pies. Three years later, he launched another Joe’s Pizza on King’s Highway, continuing his passion for authentic, old-school pizza.

After conquering New York, Joe Vitale brought “A Taste of New York” to Los Angeles, opening his first location in 2008. Two years later, he added a Sunset Blvd outpost, and since then Joe’s Pizza has expanded across Hollywood, Downtown, Sherman Oaks, Beverly Hills, and Mid City.
